Been a long time since I saw this dredge in action. Last time was in Oregon. As I recall, it has a couple of smaller riffles near the flare followed by a dozen or so 1" hungarians. The micro-fine TX gold that Trevor is attempting to catch with this rig requires too much settling time to get caught effectively with this setup. And the taller riffles just loft the tiny stuff back up into the flow. The only adjustment that makes sense is to change it over to Hoser's farorite over/under setup. Screen the big stuff topside. Tiny riffles and expanded down below. I used to run it that way with Nomad on the bottom. But am leaning now days toward the conveyor belting that is used on the cube
Whaddaya think Hoser? Try for an over/under setup? Or scrap the box and start all over?
