Hoser,
I was going to PM you with this question because it may or may not reveal my "knuckle-headed-ness" but I thought I would just post it as there may be others with the same question...

Why should wetsuits never be folded? How about rolled up?

You may have given the answer in your post, 'cause they can't breath?

folding or rolling up your suit can cause drying/crackeing at the fold. always hang your suit and itll help if its hung where ventilation can get all around it to help prevent any mold. and always wash/disenfect your suit before any storage. i hate brown/yellow stains on my wetsuit in the spring!

I always run my suit through the wash on a gentle cycle then hang it up to drip dry inside out for a day then right side in for another day this helps to dry it completely with no fear of mold. I do use a mild detergent in my wash and I have about 3 years now on my 3mil with no issues 1 season on my 7Mil and I always hang them never fold or roll them I do the same for my boots and hood gotta keep them clean lots of micro crick critters in thses Ohio waters
A river runs through the Garden of Eden called the Pishon and in this river is gold and the gold there is good!

Old wetsuits never die.... they just.....?

I have had very good luck with the Tilo's Titanium 7.5mm it is also a farmer john style. Over 13 years of abusive labor, countless pactches and repairs but still a goin strong. I own a few.
Care is important as the ol' Hoser is saying.

No matter what the condition of the wet suit, Dave, me, or Russ should never be photographed in a wet suit!

Hoser is still in reasonable condition so take his word on it.

As long as we're on the subject of wetsuits...
I have a Henderson Gold Core 7mm, two-piece. Fits perfectly like a glove (once I have it on) and is comfortable in and out of the water.
Normally, my biggest workout of the day is putting this suit on! It's basically a 20 minute workout. I wear a thin silky wetsuit liner underneath which helps it slide on a little better, but DANG...
Love it once it's ON but it's a struggle, I've even accidentally punched myself in the face while stretching it having my hand slip.
It's a great suit and is coated well on the inside (hence, Gold Core) so I figured that this feature would make getting dressed easier, but...
Any tips.... or is that just the way it is?
Thanks much

It sounds to me it is a little too small. It doesn't take me half that long to get into mine. Well, last year anyway. I'm not sure I can get into it this year. I've had too much of the retired life.
