i have been thinking about that. if there going to ban dredging. then what to do with a hole bunch of dredges. how about this, a water powered jet pack. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0snTqLQLpBA or making a jet boat out of the dredges. that would make a few mad quick.
save a tree, eat a squirrel.

If it were to get passed into law, I really doubt that it would pass a court challenge! Could you imagine if you had to pay a state per use fee on your car license. Driving to Cali to OR could cost you $2500.00 just to visit the state? Discrimination big time! Somebody just doesn't have a clue to write such a thing.

This just in from Tom Kitchar, president of the Waldo Mining District.
ALL:

In case you have not heard, Oregon SB 765 (Atkinson)has been recinded. Atkinson's office put the word out today.

I spoke with his aid Kyle, and was told it was recinded partly due to overwhelming opposition, and partly due to legal problems identified within the bill.

YES!!!!!!!!!
We can make a difference!!!!!!

One less headache!
Thanks to all - saves me another night of working on this piece of crap!
