Trade schools rule!! i bought some thin walled tubeing and THEN started looking for a shop to mandrel bend it! well there isnt a shop in the midwest thatll do it EXCEPT for Ranken Trade School here in St.Louis. Mo.... not only did they have the equipment and correct dies, they did it for FREE and wouldnt/couldnt take anything for doing it! not even a cold beer after class. and they would have given me the tubeing if i hadnt already bought it. they did a real nice job bending a 180 degree w/a tight radius.i was hopeing they had a die for 3 inch and 4 inch tubeing but they didnt. i can work around that! to me, that was the DEAL of the century! I talked with Chuck Lassiter about where he gets his tubeing bent (for his Hydroforce nozzel)and he says he buys it from a shop in MI.
