You need to send a comment to the BLM in order to express your opinion to re-open mining on the river. Otherwise, these folks will use your signature as in favor of their agenda to keep miners off the river.

Sad, that they figure we are out to trash the river and for the most part, it's not us causing all the damage we are being blamed for doing.

hmm thats strange when i was out there, i do not remember leaving any trash, or using helo's yes my dredge is gas powered but back in the day they used water hoses to wash down the side of mountains. in the old times they also used dynamite to blast the sides of the hills too.

Everytime I go prospecting.
I end up picking other peoples trash up and carting it out.
Mostly people leave the places clean, but there are a few campsites that I have seen where stuff was left behind, no way to tell how left the garbage .
Same as with the lead removal, document it.
I take pictures so I have proof.

i remember when i had a year round permit for the sultan river.got a letter telling me that my permit was cancelled.so i called the gentlemen up that wrote the letter.amazingly i got him on the line first call.he explained to me that upon a visual inspection he and his coworker found literally hand fulls of fish dead on the banks and dead in dried up pools that i had left when the water level went down.ive been dredging for a long time and never ever left anything like a huge hole for fish to die in.he literally was flat out lieing through his teeth.i dought if he even ever whent down to were i was.

so what do you do about these bastard liers that are trying to kill are abilities to gold mine.
