i agree but how do you get everyone onboard is the question! i think its all been tried and here we still are! when someone or some group tries to get something going, theres always the people that say their mining the miners or ripping people off (without any kind of proof to back up what theyre claiming! so how does a person get everyone together???? it needs tobe done without a doubt, but i still cant see it happening! ive been trying for several years and it just isnt happening!everyone wants someone else to do it for them,while they are out playing!when a person or a group says they need help. where is all the people that are screaming for someone to do something?

Well,OK, seeing how that was kinda directed at me.(my comments!) I was at a couple of the dredge hearings,donated bucks I really couldn't afford to "them", wrote E mails out the arse,spent a goodly amount on Phone calls to Cali. to hear the B.S. from the Govt. officials. Was told not to do my form of protest because the "sheeple" thought it would "Harm our chances". Hell, I even built a sacrifice dredge and had made plans to go into the water up at DOWNIEVILLE and go to jail instead of taking a ticket!!( Oh hell no, we're not gonna bail you out!) Me, I thought about 30 or 40 dredges in the water would wake people up. No go sonny boy!!! I've done all I'm willing to do,especially now that I've seen what is really up. To late now kiddies!!!!

Got to try harder, keep at it don't let it get you down. One person can't do it it has got to be on a national level.
Who know how to get a non-profit organization started?????? Anybody.
There are so many people that complain but nothing happens, all the organizations that exist need to be formed in to one multy state/national level organization.
It has to be run professionally, more effort put in on the business side less on the booze side. Sitting around the campfire commiserating sucking on a bottle of booze is fun but it aint getting us nowhere.

to start a not for profit group you need to follow the state/federal and IRS rules ,by going to each entity and read the info. its a pain to do but we did it in Missouri for our GPAA clubs. and it does cost money!

Well, again I think you are wrong, point in fact. The Greenies are banded together and they are kicking our asses.
Their goal is one thing to stop all small mining end of story they don't give a damn how they achieve it.
The miners need to band together drop all of the Bovine fecal matter and concentrate on what is important keep the mining right open so people can mine. Keeping mining open needs to be our goal, never mind the piddlie shit as long as we achieve it.
People will just have to learn to leave their personal baggage at home and concentrate on the big picture, Cause the greenies are and they are kicking our ass.

For every $1.00 us miners can gather for the cause, the greenies, environmentalist , wackos, whatever you want to call them, will gather $100,000.00, or more. We just don't have the money to fight the fight. If they could, they would overturn the mining law of 1872, and they just might! Whoever posted that it's not going to happen in their lifetime, has just about hit the nail on the head.

Unfortunately, the enviros and all, have been formed and united on the multi state/national level for years, while we sit and stew over what to do, and how to accomplish it.

We can win a a brush fire or two, and win, but in the long run we're gonna get consumed. And no, I don't have an answer

You might get a few bucks if you try it at the K-mart, but the state house isn't going to get you any money.
