Trade schools rule!! i bought some thin walled tubeing and THEN started looking for a shop to mandrel bend it! well there isnt a shop in the midwest thatll do it EXCEPT for Ranken Trade School here in St.Louis. Mo.... not only did they have the equipment and correct dies, they did it for FREE and wouldnt/couldnt take anything for doing it! not even a cold beer after class. and they would have given me the tubeing if i hadnt already bought it. they did a real nice job bending a 180 degree w/a tight radius.i was hopeing they had a die for 3 inch and 4 inch tubeing but they didnt. i can work around that! to me, that was the DEAL of the century! I talked with Chuck Lassiter about where he gets his tubeing bent (for his Hydroforce nozzel)and he says he buys it from a shop in MI.

im having really good success with gluing ridged foam together with water base contact cement. the only thing is ,is that u have to clamp them over knight. made a press with two 2 by 12s and bar clamps. made new supper light pontoons for my three and my five. then wrapped them with moist stop window seal. not as tough as the poly floats but makes up for it in lite weight.i can carry two 96 by 16 by 12 in floats with no problem.

nO uv PROTECTION AND ANY SCRAPES MAKES THEM FALL APART AND CONTAMINATE THE CREEKS AS not BIODEGRADABLE. i SAW TICKETS GIVEN OUT HERE IN KALIF OVER TRASHING THE SACRAMENTO RIVER WITH THEM. jUST A HEADS UP. oops sorry. Just throw a layer of cloth-any cloth-and some resin over them and problem is stopped, only adds a pound or so but could save ya some cash in the long run-John
