Snow is in the high country. While there might be snow on the ground, it sometimes get around 40 degrees with the sun shinning. At least Russ won't have to worry about drive by shootings. Just the occasional dumb ass BLM or Forest Ranger who can't cite what law/rule you're breaking, and a wacoenvironmentalist or two. For now we can still dredge, something a kalif resident ol'fart resident can't do - legally

We really have great BLM people in Colorado. The CCC has dealt with them a lot and as far as I know, we are the only ones dredging on the Arkansas River this year. We had to do some paperwork and there are some limitations but we are still dredging and the financial requirements are reasonable.

Russ needs to look at Buena Vista. Randy just moved there and should be a great prospecting partner.

I just happen to know a few people that have claims there and if he were to "suck up" a little, might get access.

Russ,

I'd definitely consider Springs, Pueblo, Hartsel, Woodland Park, Fairplay or Buena Vista.

I am itching to build something on our place. (211 Moonbeam Dr.) we are probably going to put up a 3 season cabin and come back to NE in the winter.

Thanx much as all them links will keep me busy for quite awhile. First time in 40 years no dredge in the water all summer,HUGE bummer as ol'fish dries out and just gets meaner, tougher and less tolerant as my america is dead. Election is a erection that will fix absolutely nuttn' as just more scummy dogs who serve their party and corporate masters to the demise of the working poor-aka THE 47% ROMNEY RIDICULES SOOOOOO MUCH  no man off,by or for the people is for sure-John

Russ:

Your bigger problem may be selling your house in MO. It's still a slow real estate market and the houses around here are selling slowly. Good luck though.

Hi Rex:

Ok I found your place in CO and it really looks like a great place to set up housekeeping. At 9000' the air is a little thin though. My only problem would be the drive to get anything bought.

If your at the St Joe gold show say Hi. :D
