siskiyou claim taxes

Postby skunkapemining » Wed Apr 11, 2012 10:55 pm

Getting ready to file taxes tomorrow. Last years property tax on our 3 - 40 acre claims was $192.78 to record this the county also charged $ 27.00 then blm took $30 . the county makes bank on all the claims, you would think they would stand behind miners more.

Thanks for the heads up hoser! Yesterday I moved rocks and winched trees! That was just to get to the headtrail to the claims!!!!! I spent 3 hours just to get to the foot trail! I got down to the worksite and found the equipment was safe, but 3 foot of blowsand had filled my dig from the hi water. i left about 4pm climbing the rope out of the canyon in frkn hail! I will take winter anytime, but spring is a booger! 1 more month and the rattlers will be all over our claims. Anyways, I am having the time of my life! Gotta remember we lived in tents up there for 18 months. I kinda miss it! Oh well,we now have chickens, property and next week feeder hogs as well as our garden area. Gold, guns, yardbird, pork, Armagettingiton!

Hoser, a certain person from this site is threatening to comeover soon, you hitching a ride up here? Meat, beer, gold and bullshit! A fun time!

Encountered my first rattler yesterday. 35 inches from tip of his nose to tip of his broken off rattles. Only 8 rattles left. He's sleeping now.

Sounds like a timber rattler. Killed 5 of them a couple years ago. 3 + footers ,fat and 8 buttons. Thanks for the heads up Lip!

We will bbq a couple if Hoser and that other guy show up. Good meat, but lotta work to get all the meat off the bones.tastes like squirrel and quail if put on smoker then bbq real fast for a short time.
