The only idiot problem that guy has is his mother's son. I know that I always worked really hard for a boss that called me an idiot and threatened me. (To quote Bugs Bunny) "What a marroon!"

Ya know, I have hung out with miners for quite some time now and most of them use some sort of homebrew equipment, it's just the way we are. Even though it's home built, it is usually in good working order and I have actually seen some incredibly creative and high quality contraptions out there. However, every now and then I see some rattle trap, wire and duck tape coagulation of parts that defies all mechanical logic. Constantly broken and barely functional and all mainly due to the builders lack of ability and attention to detail.

Just having to be in Nome makes everything harder and the inability to run to ACE Hardware is a real handicap....but.... It is clear that the Discovery channel sought out the worst of the pack and is following them in their pursuit of gold (plot should sound familiar). If nothing broke and everyone got along the show would be boring. They are simply on the other end of this scale. Everything is broken and everyone is an ass = entertainment!

I agree with that angry angry man he does have an idiot issue. I know for sure I would have punched that little weasel of a deck hand he is forced to work with right in the face by now. He is a useless backstabbing pri#$^ and should be fed to the crabs. Hard to believe that ass fathered sweet Emily her I would keep. LOL

This mindless BS bs has caused a HUGE new set of rules that have been iniated due to this CENSORED pile a crappola called BS Gold tv show, which was really the DSC channel intent from the beginning. Get idjets -check,get crappy equipment--check, never learn a damn thing --check, break every law known to man--check--YAAAAAA mission accomplished on both land and sea!!! Discovery channel always has been, will always be a environutz anti-mining channel only superceded by National Geo channel. Yes in their bumbling they actually got a hit--which makes dumbed down mining even worse  ---John
