Hello all.I'm reworking my sluice box on my 5in dredge.I've seen where some people will take short pieces of angle iron and turn it on it's edge and weld it to the refles.Just looking to get some input. Thanks Bill

Yes I do Russ.Have you ever seen where guys will weld angle iron on top of the hungarian riffels.I guess to help brake up clay. Not sure.I was thinking of putting a few on top of the riffels.I'll post a picture tomarrow show you what I'm talking about.

Never had any reason to do this and don't really understand the purpose. I would think it would defeat the whole purpose of the riffle itself.

NO way Jose, what a pain, they originated because folks made their riffles out of cheap thin metal and had to have them to keep riffles from being beaten down. Do it right and never need'm-tons a au 2 u 2 -John
