Where To go?

Hello all.Ok here the dilemma im newly retired and wanting to hit the road next summer with my wife and dredge in tow.Ive been away from prospecting four sevral years.Working coaching my kids football team well you guys know how it gos.But thanks to to new knees every day is a saturday.I allways dreamed of spending a summer in northern CA. But why do that if you cant dredge.I spent some time up in Alaska with the late Gene Bunkley{goldak} great guy...I was even tell Russ the other day the first time I went up thier I was used to finding a spect here and there and old gene set me and my son up in a place with my highbanker.And man o man was there gold.Pickers in every load.never seeing gold like that befor we did a clean up about every 15minutes.Gere sure got a kick out of that.Well come to find out his son Ken sold his claims.So thats what Im wanting to know is there anyone here that has or knows of someone that has claims up there that would be willing to let me derdge afew weeks.four a price or a split.Any info or input would be helpful. maybe Mark PA has a opening ??? Leonard has been there and has videos of it. Mark is a member here but dont post much.

I would suggest posting your question on the Alaska Gold forum and see if you get any responses. I just got to believe the folks in AK are getting inundated with this type of request.
However, people quit, claims are put up for sale and claim holders need to hire miners. Also this time of year, there is more forum traffic because things in the field have pretty much shut down and there is free time to talk on the boards. I might look at the claims in the Chicken AK area.

Unfortunately I can only tell you where not to go and the list keeps getting longer. I myself had to settle for Alaska so I could dredge. Good Luck.

If I was looking for a place to go I'd go to Alaska. If you work at it, you should be able to find a place to go.

Thanks four the reply's guys.Im trying to get in touch with the guy that bought the bunkleys claims.Maybe get something worket out with him.Ive seen those videos russ the ones of leonards.Thats my kind of place.But like dickb said you know them guys with good claims up there are getting hammerd on things like this.I'll keep after it.I know when I was up in the circle mining district theres alot of guys that have more then one claim some dont get worket thats were im going to look.i'll post over in the alaska site to.Again thanks all...Bill
