Leonard,

I would like to thank everyone that was involved in getting these photos online for us to view. I sure remember that rumble of the Jake Brakes coming off the mountain there. Damned it was louder than I snore :lol: I ended up one night going to the nearby motel for a...good sleep... :D I remember the Honey Hole, I got to work in it one afternoon, and it was deep, nice designed hole though. I also remember the fish that was hanging out getting the helgramites coming out of the tailing. I will always have the fond memory of sitting up at the parking area with Geno directing traffic for ordinary folks coming in to checkout the Rally. Great to meet everyone that I did.. even Grivey... :twisted: :o :D ..... Lottsa beer and alcohol consumed that week.... :shock:

I miss the DEF rallies. I was lucky to make one. I was a younger one at 19 but enjoyed it. Passed by and greeted. Mostly trying to dig and get my little bit for the remembrance.

yep i also really liked the DEF rallies.i meet a lot of really good people and had great times/memories of it all!
