Hope everybody does great this season :) As they say in basketball/football, I'm having season ending surgery on both knees  Russ, and a lot of you others know the feeling :( Thought is was just a small meniscus tear in both knees. Both have degenerative arthritis (nothing new for late 60's :| ). The pressure from the years of standing, stooping, and other stuff one does when out in the field prospecting has caused most of the cartilage to wear out, float under the knee caps, and chew away the meniscus (causes all the swelling and popping noise). Should have been shooting videos like Leonard :P hope all find gold in their riffles, mats, expanded metal, drywashers, under their coils, pans, etc ;) Getting out this year  will be about as likely as dredging returning to Calif in 2012 - NOT       Good note is the gas prices are dropping...... well maybe a few pennies

Hope the operations go well Pat.
Trying to find the closest place to Houston to find enough color to make it worth my while. Tried the Llano river last year....the sluice coughed up a couple of fly specs and that's it....but at least I can say that I've found gold in TEXAS now!
I hear that there's gold in the beach sands of south padre island....but it's a national seashore and illegal to dig...sux 2 b me.
