the new phone number is (according to their website) (307)745-2300 i got this by goggleing Laramie Wyoming district Ranger station and followed the site.i also emailed them asking for a blank dredge permit for 2012 to fill out while i had them!

Neighbor Bob and I are making a reconnoitering trip to the flats on thursday, the 7th. We'll stop at the ranger station and get a dredge application to post and then check out the camping and water situation.

I hope the water is down so you can get a dredge in. Maybe by now most of the logging will be done in that area.

according to http://waterdata.usgs.gov/nwis/rt the water has been down running low in the area for sometime now. thanks Leonard for getting the application and posting it. have a good trip! ill see you in a couple of weeks on the flats!

So, I'm not understanding something. Didn't Wyo nix the dredge permit? Or was it reinstated within a year or two? I'm certain that I'd read that they wanted you to "write them a note as to where you would be dredging,etc" in lou of a permit.

yep your correct, i guess i used the wrong words!but they have a form to fill out and thats what im wanting.

well Saturday June 23 im going to double check my triple checked trailer for things i want to bring with me to DC.but sure as heck ill forget something! except for the spring water!

Did you eever find the bucket of cons that you misplaced after the last dredge trip?

Don't matter how many times you check the trailer, your gonna forget something or two, remember your OLD! :lol:
