Here are a few pictures of Bella and I after we finally got the dredge running. I'm going to have to get her a mask soon.

nICE TO SEE YOUR UP AND RUNNING BUD AND SPREADING THE FEVER TO THE NEXT GENERATION. OOPS SORRY. Anyhow any gold?? You might just want to get that discharge outta the water as that is quite a radical angle and your dealing with texas micro flour gold for much better recovery.Simply move the box towards engine a good 6" or so and you be a wealthier miner. Looks like a glorious day to me-kudos and tons a au 2 u 2 -John :D

Trevor,

That's fantastic :D , she's a real cutie and she will be the best sluice tender you'll ever get if you can keep her topside, my bet is that she be fighting you for the nozzle before to long, yep time to get her a mask and a regulator!!!

John,

That was the evening that we got the dredge started for the first time. We had been hogging loose material to get a hole started. I didn't want to sink the dredge, so I had the slope pretty steep. This dredge is the old style, with a handle to adjust the slope. That handle is attached to a trapeze that fits in an aluminum channel on the bottom of the sluice.

I have absolutely no idea what your experience level is and can't quit trying to assist folks when I see stuff askew, sorry didn't mean to criticize. Is it a over/under?? can't see a flair either?? always interested in all dredges as a pure 100% addict going through withdrawls from no dredging..... :? John

Looks like a sweet old Keene 6" with the wide and long single stage sluice. Those things are actually fine gold getin' machines. Mine has a splitter that goes from one 3" to two 2 inchers into a twin marlex jet.
