I put this together to answer a post in http://www.coloradoprospector.com/forums/ about winter prospecting. If you haven't seen the videos, this might help you get through the winter blues.
These are all from Lefthand Canyon out of Boulder.

This spot doesn't even allow panning any more. It's in a section of Boulder Mountain Parks. It's a shame because it was a great spot to sluice in the winter. This was New Years Eve day. This has some good panning and sluicing demo's.

Here's some winter panning of summer concentrates. The first section is Colorado gold and the last section is concentrates from when Dave and I spent 8 days camped on the beach of Nome.

Here's how we got that gold.

The wind blew like that for the whole 8 days. Most of the time it was raining.
Here's a video of the camping trip.

Here's the video of my return from Nome.

If you have decided by now that I'm not someone you want to hang out with, I'd respect that. If not, I have access to a lot of Colorado prospecting and in the summer, we could have a lot of fun and a lot of stories around the campfire.
