Gold Rush Alaska Season 2

Postby libertydave » Wed Oct 12, 2011 4:02 pm

Hang on to your knickers!!! I know all of you gold miners out there have been anxiously awaiting the return of GRA on Discovery TV this fall so if you were not aware, season 2 launches on October 28th.

Seem like all (except for Jimmy Dorsey) are returning to Alaska with a desire to get to the bottom of the "Glory Hole" on Porcupine Creek. Seems that Dakota Fred has a surprise for the team.

I thought the lease at Porcupine Creek wasn't going to be renewed :? . I guess they left all the equipment from last season on site, and the Discovery channel made a deal with the owner ;) . I can't wait to see if Jack (the old man - I think he's older than both of us Russ) falls in the "Glory Hole" along with the heavy equipment he was operating last season.

What the heck, I'll tune into the drama for a good laugh.

Hoser the adventures of the present are getting far better than those of the AK summer. :D hahaha Whoooo

And didn't have to travel but a few miles, hey.

Bored outta my gord and finally watched(lousy rain, hail and snow)--wanted to pluck my eyes out. Now 3 sets of ops and 91 year old miners cuts loose the kid??? Oh well at least he got gold. Permafrost problems are really a pain. We built a lodge and landing strip in the Yukon for Ziggy and piled it up in 30' x 100' mounds and left for a year to defrost. Nasty stuff. Ol Freds op now a copy of drama enriched Hoffman op too?? Genera seems pretty flat this year as kid getting small amounts but Gpa needs to put a boot up side a his head. CalGoldDredger John could make a much more interesting show at least!!! 8-) John
