I wonder why they insist that the right to a jury trial is waved. can somebody explain that one

its easy to answer. the jury must be one of his peers, that would be miners. if the jury was all ecofreaks, you know what the out come would be.
save a tree, eat a squirrel.

thats what I thought, what I don't get is that the judge is asking for that. judges should not be allowed to ask people to relinquish their legal rights to a speedy trial it just seems wrong.
